Track how you invest your time. The first step in learning to attack your day before it attacks you is to discover where you invest your time each day. You may start with a plan, a to-do list of activities but then you get interrupted!

Interruptions come in the form of email, phone calls, customer complaints, request from boss, spam email, deadlines, drop-in visitors, socializing, surfing the net, attempting to much, unwilling to say NO, and the list goes on and on.
